The Swagman (Manual)

The Swagman – the cheapest of our vans but also the oldest ranging between 1992 – 1996 model Toyota Commuters. They are however well maintained and serviced every 10,000 klms.

The Swagman is basic but comfortable. This van sleeps 2 people (3 if you are friendly). It has the most comfortable bed of all the vans featuring a permanently made double bed with spring mattress and storage underneath. This van is a flat top camper seat belted for 3 passengers in the front and is a manual drive. You do your cooking under the cover of the tailgate on a 2 burner gas cooker.

About our rates

  • Day is per calendar day not a 24 hour day.
  • $35.00 administration fee applies to all bookings. A $25.00 discount applies to payment in full at time of booking or a $250.00 deposit is required with balance of payment due on collection of van.
  • $20.00 gas surcharge applies to all bookings. (All gas bottles supplied full, no need to refill them on return)
  • All Mastercard and Visa Card transactions incur a 2% fee. All AMEX transactions incur a 4% fee
  • Collection Hours 8.00am to 5.00pm . Return Hours 8.00am to 4.00pm (see terms for full details)
  • Minimum hire is 5 days 16th January to 14th December and 10 days 15th December to 15th January.
